IE 6.0 will not close

When I open IE 6.0 it sometimes will not load. I then
open Task Manager and find there are two sessions of
iexplorer.exe running. I can close both sessions, exit
Task Manager, and IE 6.0 functions properly, but the
problem reoccurs at the next instance when I attempt to
open IE 6.0. I am using Windows XP Pro as my OS.

Any help would be appreciated.

I ran Adaware and RBKiller.exe. No parasites show up.
The processes that show up dually are both iexplore.exe.

I appreciate all your help on this matter.

Thanks for all your help on my two problems. I found the
culprit! At some point in time, I don't remember when, I
downloaded and installed a program called File Download
Accelerator. It loaded with the command fdaagent.exe at
startup and appeared in the toolbar of IE6.0. It has a
feature that hooks IE6.0 downloads with a option called
file integration. Anyway, I removed the program and all
is well. Again, thanks for all your help.
