ICS with Peer to peer

ok thought this would be simple turns out its not so

got BT broadband

with a USB ADSL modem on my PC with IP address 192.168.0.1

and laptop with automatically assigned IP address as instructed to do so by
windows ICS when i was setting it up

I am able to ping from my laptop to PC and vise versa, i am able to share a
drive on my PC on my laptop

and i can connect to the BT broadband on my PC from my laptop

and can view the status window on my laptop for the connection on my PC

data is being sent back and forth from my computer which i assume is the
laptop

however i have a problem

i installed BT broadband on the laptop before setting the small p2p network
away

its still there so now when i open internet explorer on my laptop whilst i
am connected to BT broadband on my pc i get a prompt to dial the connection
for BT broadband i created on my laptop.

now my question is how do i get it to stop this and show pages with the
internet connection from the pc that i have shared

also i use zonealarm 4.5 have set the network up in there to be accepted and
trusted its as

192.168.0.0
255.255.255.0

ip and subnet mask (default)

so should i change this network to 192.168.0.1 since the IP of the pc is
with .1 and not .0, could this be my problem?

all this is going to crop up again when i go wireless in a few days if i
dont solve it now

so can anyone offer any advice?

i am willing to start again

wipe all broadband connection re install them and then re set all IP
addresses etc etc.

i have windows firewall disabled currently because i am using ZoneAlarm

really any help greatly appreciated

Thank you (in advance)

christo
