From

ZoneAlarm Plus and ZoneAlarm Pro fully support Internet Connection
Sharing (ICS). ZoneAlarm does not fully support ICS.
From
http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/support/znalmGeneralFAQ.jsp :
1. What are the major differences between ZoneAlarm and
ZoneAlarm Pro?
ZoneAlarm Pro keeps all of the great features of ZoneAlarm but
adds more control and features including:
ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) capability: Allows configuration
of an ICS network with features to turn ICS on or off and to
auto-detect routing and ICS.
So, it appears that the free version of ZoneAlarm is incompatible with
ICS on the host computer. Perhaps someone else knows a way to
overcome the problem.
If you can't use ZoneAlarm, un-install it and either:
1. Install an ICS-compatible firewall, or:
2. Enable XP's built-in Internet Connection Firewall on the shared
Internet connection.
