how to turn off Internet Connedtion Sharing (ICS)?

Hi,

I just bought a router and want to turn off the Internet Connection
Sharing (ICS) on my host computer. I remember there is a check box
"Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet
connection check box" under on a network connection (under the Advance
tab). I open my LAN connection but find this check box is totally
missing. I remember that is where I turned on the ICS and make the
computer as a host. My company computer has the check box in some of my
network connections (missing in the others). Can somebody tell me how
to turn off Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)? Should I delete the LAN
network connection and just re-create another one? Is it dangerous?
Thanks for your help.

The ICS option is found in the Properties | Advanced screen of an
Internet connection. It only appears when all of these are true:

1. There are one or more network connections for the home network
(LAN). The home network can use an Ethernet, IEEE 1394 (FireWire), or
Bluetooth connection, but it can't use a serial or parallel
connection. With more than one available network connection, there
will be a box asking you to specify which one to use for the home
network.

2. The Internet Connection Firewall is disabled on the home network
connections (XP original and XP SP1 only).

3. The Internet connection isn't bridged.
