AntiVir is NOT a top rated AV. Even top rated AV packages can miss infectors. Why do you
think I stated "...one or more of the below online scanners.." ? One might catch what
another misses.
There are False Positive and False Negatives. Just because AntiVir is on the PC does NOT
mean you are not infected. You won't know for sure UNLESS you try another scanner. Hence
my stating "...one or more of the below online scanners ...". Just the same they are AV
scanners, not parasitic malware scanners such as Ad-Aware.
As for buying a Router. It is NOT "...out of the question this time!" You just to run a
SOHO LAN cheap. You can be cheap, you can not take my advice but...you will be the price
later.
