ICS Nightmares

I've got a wireless connection (ad-hoc, peer to peer) between my two
computers. One connects to the internet via dialup. I can share files,
printers etc... but when I try to enable ICS (internet connection
sharin) i get the error "Cannot enable shared access" (Error 1060: the
specified service does not exist as an installed service)

Am I missing something? I have WinXP Pro with SP1 on the internet
computer and WinXP Home SP2 on the other computer

On the Internet computer, go to Start | Run | services.msc, and make
sure that the "Internet Connection Firewall (ICF) / Internet
Connection Sharing (ICS)" service is started and that the Startup type
is set to Automatic.

Are there any relevant messages in Event Viewer (Start | Run |
eventvwr.msc)? For more information, see:

A computer running XP SP1 is several years behind in updates and
security patches and is vulnerable to many Internet-based attacks. I
strongly recommend running Windows Update on the Internet computer to
install SP2 and all the subsequent updates.
