Icons, Outlook and other programs

Ever since the windows xp update today 4/18/06, my sister's computer has
apparently reconfigured itself. All icons are very small and other programs
such as outlook, word, ect have had all their fonts changed. If she restores
the computer prior to today's date, it claims there is a problem with her
virus program. After looking at other postings, it appears there is a
problem with the latest update. Is there another update to fix current
problems?

Hi Cindy
Taur Aurian posted this
Problems in Windows Explorer or the Windows shell after you install security
update MS06-015
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/918165

System restore can be used to set a restore point prior to using a quick
fix.

If you uninstall the update see section titled "Workaround for Windows shell
vulnerability" under Vulnerability Details:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/Bulletin/MS06-015.mspx
Also you'll need to check Automatic Updates and make sure that the update
isn't automatically downloaded see: - Configure Automatic Updating in
Windows
XP - 306525
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306525

If that doesn't work check through the newgrroup posts. Everyone has been
having trouble with the latest updates.
