icons messed up

Hi I've recently upgraded me to xp.

Now when I launch messenger, and other programs, the
icons in the program do not display properly. Like in
messenger, the bullets beside my contact and the folders
(which should be an arrow) are all the little green guy
with a screwed up drop shadow.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and no go.

The weird thing is....

IF I lauch Homesite before lauching anything, my icons
are ok. Any Ideas?

Greetings Daniel,

Have you updated your video drivers recently (from WindowsUpdate)? If so, what you're seeing
is a bug within those drivers, to correct this, you just need to "roll back" the drivers you
currently have installed. To do so, click Start, then Run, type "devmgmt.msc", click OK,
then right-click your video card, choose Properties, then Driver tab, and choose Roll Back
Driver to go back to the previous version.
