iCalendar format check box grayed out in Calendar Options

Tools -> Options -> Calendar Options
"When sending meeting requests over the Internet, use iCalendar
format"

This box is grayed out. Anyone know why this could be? Outlook is 2003
connected to an Exchange server.

This is by design, since you're connected to Exchange.
