I want to schedule disconnect a specific DUN connection.on winxp-how?

Hi,

I want to schedule a disconnect of a dialup networking connetion to
disconnect from the internet at a pre scheduled time.

And I also want to make sure that it is prevented from automatically
reconnecting again..(sometimes a window pops up and says connection has
been lost..and the countdown on redial button starts...I dont want
this..)

And also..subsequently shutdown/standby/hibernate my pc.


Any help will be very much appreciated..

buy a timer from walmart or something and plug the external modem into it,
set the time to power off the modem and it won't redial. if you use an
internal one and desperately need the options you mentioned then buy an
external modem. then set you pc power settings to turn off or hibernate when
there is no activity. or connect remotely via another pc and shut down your
main pc remotely and at your convenience....

can i use windows schedule task to get this to work..
I know that this can be done..but how..i dont know...
