I think I need a driver for my soundcard.

Dear Sir,
3 years ago I purchased a GATEWAY computer which had a
soundcard called :- GB CREATIVE LABS 1373 DIGITAL
SOUNDCARD. In addition this computer ran on WINDOWS 98
SECOND EDITION.
During this past week I purchased and installed
WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION, but unfortunately I cannot
get any sound out of it, but I am given to beleive that
if I can download a driver, this will solve the problem.
If this is so, please can you advise or help me.
