I think I have two version of Windows Home Edition

Had a problems and tech advised me to reload everything on my lab top.
However when I start up my system the first display shows two versions of
Windoww XP home edition. And by the time I get to my desktop it looks like
it comes up two times. I am having so many problems with my email from
earthlink. and other things. I think my msconfig is not right either can
you help!

First, get off your island and come to the mainland.
Next, you'll need to edit your Boot.ini file to delete the
old copy of XP. Use Windows Explorer and see if you have
two instances of XP on your harddrive.
