I need Windwos 2003 Service Pack 1

B

Brad Pears

I am trying to obtain a copy of Windows 2003 service pack 1 for installation
on my 2003 server. When I use windwos update, it only has an option for
Service Pack 2 which I do not want to install at this time. Is there a way
to force it to ignore service pack 2 and show Service pack 1??

OR

does someone have a link to where I can downlaod SP1 from??

Many thanks, Brad

Believe me, I searched google before posting this request as well as
searching the MS download site and best I could get was the SP1 install for
multiple servers - that same one that your link points to. MS indicates that
if you are installing on just one server to not use that one... I could not
find any google link to any other SP1 download.

So do you know if I download SP1 using your link if I will be able to do a
single server install?

Thanks Brad.

Yes, you can do a single server install.

The only reason I am going SP1 right now is because my other Win2K3 server
is also at SP1 and I don't want to upgrade the two of them to SP2 right now.
The other server is a backup domain controller. I'll go to SP1 and then
upgrade both to SP2 later...

Thanks for the links... The link to SP1 is the same one I had before which
is supposedly only for implementation on multiple servers but it must work
for one server as well...

Thanks, Brad

I think you are misinterpeting the description. I think by 'multiple
server' they just mean it's one big download you can use on multiple
computers rather than just a small internet-download version.
