I mistakenly removed system32\Winlogon.exe, now my PC shuts down as soon as I log in

Having suspected that my PC was hijacked by keyloggers, I ran a proces
with "Security Task Manager" yesterday. The result of the process wa
that Security Task Manager sort of implied that there was somethin
mysterious about the C:\WINDOWS\System32\Winlogon.exe file. I decide
to try to quarantain the file, since Security Task Manager assured m
that I would be able to restore it should I regret my action. As soo
as I quarantained the winlogon.exe file, my computer shut down, and no
it shuts down some 15 seconds after log in every time. I ofcourse wen
right back into Security Task Manager and clicked on the restore butto
in the Quarantain, but got an error message saying: "An error ocurre
when copying the file Winlogon.exe to \??\C:\Windows\System32". I woul
appreciate your help in solving this problem. Currently I'm able to wor
online using the Safe Mode. Prior to this thing happening wit
winlogon.exe, I was trying to solve another problem I had and i
required that I disabled my "System Restore". After the problem with m
computer shutting down because I quarantained winlogon.exe, I trie
enabling system restore and to restore my computer back to the lates
date prior to my problem, but I get a message saying that Safe Mod
doesn't provide access to "System Restore".

If you use the search function you should find another copy of winlogon.exe
in c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386, you can manually copy this file to the
system32 folder. That should get you back to where you were before using
"security task manager"
