i lost my tcp/ip setting

Does anyone know how to get back my tcp/ip setting after
you lose it or its been disable? I installed Distributed
Sniffer 4.2 agent on my laptop and now I can't see my
tcp/ip settings for my network card. I removed the
software and its still not there. Any ideas to get that
back?

Ipconfig /all should show your tcp/ip settings. If it does, jot them down and then go
to device manager/network devices and uninstall your network adapter and reboot the
computer to reinstall via plug and pray see if it allows you normal access to your
network configuration and then reconfigure your settings unless you are using dhcp
which should be reconfigured automatically. -- Steve
