TCP/IP

I have to keep uninstalling TCP/IP - only way I can
restore my network settings - I lose connectivity - and
the only recourse is to uninstall and reinstall the TCP/Ip
setting and it works every time - it is getting more
frequent and very annoying.

I wonder if you've had your network stack hijacked by some piece of malware.
Have you tried running Adaware from www.lavasoft.de to check?

Exactly what happens when you lose connectivity? What does it show when you run
ipconfig /all? Next time try ipconfig /release, followed by ipconfig /renew or reboot
the computer. Make sure you have secured your computer as shown in the link below. If
you are using a DSL connection you may need to modify the MTU setting for the
connection. --- Steve

I have had this before on a new linksys router w/switch.
The problem was with the ISP, they did not support that
hardware and they said that it would not work at all with
them. I only had that problem when I would add more than
one PC to the switch.
Just a thought
