I keep getting viruses

Im not sure if this is the right place to post my problem
but, I keep getting viruses from e-mail adresses i dont
know. I recieved 4 of the same virus, actually a worm,
in less then than 4 hours. The subject claim to be
Micrsoft files, such as .net items. How can i stop these
e-mails and recieving all these worms/virus?
Again i don't think i posted in right place, but help is
appreciated. Thank you

There is nothing you can do to stop the senders of these bogus Emails.
Microsoft NEVER sends Email with attachments.

Install ALL Critical Updates IMMEDIATELY.
Start/All Programs/Windows Update

Install an antivirus application
Update it weekly
Run it at least weekly

I think these groups are being watched. I hadn't
received any such emails until this afternoon, shortly
after I posted a question here. I have since received
(and deleted) 3 "MS Patch" emails.

Microsoft never sends unsolicited files by email.
DO NOT open the file--it is NOT from MS.
REPEAT:Microsoft NEVER sends unsolicited files by email.

It is a virus masquerading as MS security.
The most recent is W32/Swen@MM which can be removed with Stinger

senders|Add|type-name-of-sender|Ok.
