I just installed Outlook 2002 but it will not open

I just bought an HP IPAQ the disk that came with my "palm pilot" is an
install of Outlook 2002 so I can use my PDA with my home computer and
outlook. I can't open outlook because I am getting an error message that
says.
UNABLE TO OPEN DEFAULT EMAIL FOLDER
When I click OK.. it takes me to another message.
WOULD YOU LIKE TO OPEN YOUR DEFAULT FOLDER NOW? I click yes.. then receive
this message: RUNTIME ERROR
I've read other posts about changing my profile yet, I don't know how to do
this either.
I use OUTLOOK EXPRESS for email and would like to keep this, however, I need
OUTLOOK for my appointments, calendar and my PDA.. what do I do?
