I Give Up on WMDC and Active Sync--Any 3rd Party Apps That Work?

I've had it with trying to use VISTA's WMDC and Sync Center. I have a
Motorola Q Smartphone that worked fine with Active Sync. It works fine with
my XP computer at work. However, I've spent at least a hour every day for 30+
days trying to get it tp sync with my new home VISTA Sony laptop. I got it
to sync about four time, that's all. Here's what I've done: shut off
firewall, shut off virus protection, donwloaded WMDC several times, played
with ALL settings. I give up!

Is there a 3rd party sync application that WORKS yet that anyone can
recommend?

Thanks and sorry for the tirade, Rick

returns, "they think it'll be fixed in a couple weeks," as the top hit:
