I've just installed my Windows Vista Business edition, and along with it the
new Windows Mobile Device Center (which I understand replaces ActiveSync on
Vista systems). I'm trying to get it to sync my Outlook 2007 notes folder to
my Motorola Q Smartphone (Windows Mobile 5), but it appears that option isn't
available. From what I can see within Windows Mobile Device Center, I can
sync my Outlook Contacts, Calendar, E-mail and Tasks, but the Notes feature
is missing. However, it also appears that I can sync with Microsoft Office
OneNote.....am I required to use this instead, and if so, will I be required
to move all of my Outlook Notes entries into the Office OneNote application
(I certainly hope not).
Alternatively, is there a 3rd party application that can be used with
Windows Mobile Device Center that will enable Outlook Notes synchronization?
I tried using my previous Smartphone Notes add-in (which worked with Windows
XP/ActiveSync 4.2), but that's not working anymore under the new Vista system.
Thanks,
Terry
