I get a menu box with the shift key

Just in the last few days I've started to get a menu box when I use certain
capital letters (the box with cut, paste, format, etc.). Does anyone know
how to make this stop?

Er, Outlook/Windows version? All patches applied? Is this an upgrade or
fresh install? Do you have any custom shortcuts defined? What did you
change in the last few days?

Like C, V ?

It sounds like you have sticky keys enabled or have remapped shift to be
control.

Sorry - I have Outlook 2003. It seems to happen about every time I use the
Shift key. I did not consciously enable sticky keys or remap shift -
