I.E.6 SP2

All of a sudden when I click on links in I.E. 6 the whole window closes.
Have done the following:
in safe mode have run
Panda Anti-virus
cwshredder
adaware se
spybot search and destroy
counterspy
all programs are up to date and got no errors after running programs.
Any help appreciated.

Hello Dan,
I knew you tried almost all except HijackThis. This software is very powerful and if
you're not careful you might disable many useful application. Understand the software
first before using it to delete suspected files. Study HijackThis in
http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm and ask additional help in AumHa Forums by posting your
before and after HijackThis log so they can diagnose it and guide you to eliminate the
