Help everyone!! Today when I was trying to make a backup of my personal
files and I got confused and accidently deleted what I thought was a backup
set of the PST file..but it was the real thing.. now of course nothing works
in Outlook. I mananged to figure out how to make a new set of personal
folders but nothing works.. when I try to Send/Receive, an error message
comes up saying "Task 'Hotmail - Sending' reported error (0x8004010F): 'The
operation failed. An object could not be found.'" And then it won't even
let me compose a new mail message - when I try to, it says "Cannot create the
e-mail message because a data file to send and receive messages could not be
found. To add a data file, such as a personal folder file, double-click the
Mail icon in Windows Control Panel." I'm so confused on what I should do ..
nothing seems to be working. If I uninstall Office 2003 and then reinstall
it, will that fix it? Any suggestions would be most helpful... Robert

Any chance the old .PST file is still in the Recycle Bin? If it is, restore
it and use Outlook's 'File|Open|Outlook Data File' Command to re-attach it.
