Hi folks,

From yesterday I can't any more either send or receive an email message via
my Outlook 2003. Each time I try to do it I receive in the Outlook
Send/Receive Progress window one of the following error notices:

Task 'MyAccountName - Sending' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation
failed. An object could not be found.'

or

Task 'MyAccountName - Receiving' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The
operation failed. An object could not be found.'

Background: I'm on Windows XP.

Yesterday I did my usual weekly PC maintenance works. This time I went a
little bit further then usually and removed some entries from the registry
and I was stupid enough not to backup it. Though the removed entries had
nothing to do with MS Office products after this 'cleaning' Word and Outlook
stopped functioning.

I repaired MS products from the installation CD and after that Outlook and
Word came back but when I tried to send a message I received the mentioned
above error notice.

After that I re-installed MS Office from scratch but it still doesn't
function. It functions neither with a new Outlook.pst file nor with that I
took from my backup.

When I go to Tools>E-mail Accounts>View or change existing e-mail accounts
and click the button Test Account Settings everything works fine.

I have no idea what to do and I haven't managed to find a solution on the
web. Please help me!

Regards,
Nikita Kobrin
