Error 0x8004010F - RSS Feeds Reported Error

Nina

After setting up Outlook (don't ask!) I discover that I can't Send e-mails
because I get an error message "Task RSS Feeds Reported Error 0x8004010F
etc.". I tried RegCure, but that didn't work. I can't send e-mails but seem
to be able to receive them - well I've had one from RegCure's support since I
sent them an e-mail on their website complaining that RegCure didn't work on
this problem. I've looked all over the Microsoft site and can't understand
most of the answers. I am a single PC with one user running Windows
XP/Office 2007. I am also fairly inexperienced and don't know what RSS Feeds
are and how I get hold of one!!

Help please.....and assume I'm not a computer nerd and only understand basic
computer stuff.

OK I don't know anything about the RegCure product, but I know how to
fix your problem.

In your case, it would probably be much faster to do it interactively.

RSS errors actually should not affect your ability to send mail. You may
want to verify your SMTP settings.

I am going to tell you how to kill RSS stuff for now.

http://office.microsoft.com/client/...&rt=2&ns=OUTLOOK&lcid=1033&pid=CH100622171033

Then we need to look into the real reason why your mail is not being
sent as it's probably not because of RSS errors. Who is your current
ISP? What are your SMTP server settings? What are the settings for your
mail account? Is it POP3, IMAP, Hotmail, Exchange?
