I cannot remove a trojan file.

Aside from Norton's irritating messages every 5 seconds explaining that their
system cannot remove the trojan file, the Microsoft Beta antispyware doesn't
even detect the file being on my harddrive! The file is: bluetooth.dll - if
you have nay ideas on how I can remove it, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dare I, Should I,... well why not! Try this, although I have no idea if it will
work for you with Norton's:
Since Norton's appears to detect the trojan, try running it in SAFE mode or else
from a CLEAN boot and see if that doesn't allow the removal.
But, if the virus is identified by name, use:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/search.html

If it can't be identified by name, you have two choices...
1)use another Company's online AV scan, or
2)opening an incident with Symantec...

Knowing Symantec, I'd pick choice 1 first. ;)
References to Safe and Clean boots can be found all over these forums.

Thanks plun;
SAFE was just a lucky, but apparently correct guess:
Important: If you are unable to start your Symantec antivirus product or the
product reports that it cannot delete a detected file, you may need to stop the
risk from running in order to remove it. To do this, run the scan in Safe mode.
