Everytime I click onto my Microsoft Outlook or try to open the program via
"START>PROGRAMS" I get the following messages;
First small window opens and tells me

"Unable to open your default e-mail folders. Could not open the item. Try
again."

I cklick on OK

Next message says;
"Would you like to open your default File System Folder instead?

If I click on "NO", Outlook window closes completely. If I click on "YES"
the following message opens; MICROSOFT VISUAL C++RUNTIME LIBRARY

"Runtime Error! Program: C:\PROGRA~1\MI1933~1\OFFICE10\OUTLOOK.EXE"
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

I uninstalled the program yestersday and reinstalled it and to no avail. If
anyone knows what is going on and how to fix this PLEASE HELP!
Thank you.

Go to 'Control Panel|Mail|Data Files', is there a file in the list? If
there isn't, you need to add one.

Hal thank you for your advise. i did what you said and there were NO files in
there so I added the only file that it would allow me to add "Personal
Files". I then tryed to open my outlook again and the only window I got was;

MICROSOFT VISUAL C++RUNTIME LIBRARY
"Runtime Error! Program: C:\PROGRA~1\MI1933~1\OFFICE10\OUTLOOK.EXE"
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information."

Was it ok to add the personal files to the list? By the way, I am using
Outlook 2002

OK, here's another possible cause for that error:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906899/en-us
Word does not save changes or you receive an error message in an Office
program after you install Adobe Acrobat 7.0
