This problem also has started for me. Google is my home
page and I am getting some sort of an error saying that
the website does not exist. I have my computer, my Son and
Wife have their own and they are not having problems
viewing the Google page. I have noticed also that there
are some other sites that I cannot get to.

I assume that its some sort of Virus that has made it
through the system. I have McAfee and I keep it updated to
the latest version.

I have done a total system scan and have found nothing.

I anyone has found a fix for this please post it.

Thanks, Greg Reese

You may want to see more details see
http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/darnit_2.htm#iedll and also
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/cwschronicles.html where you will also be
able to download the latest version of the CWShredder which should remove
all of the mess this hijacker has made of your registry
(http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip)

If you have not already done so I would also recommend you download yourself
a copy of the free Ad-Aware 6.0 from Lavasoft;
(http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/)

and also SpyBot;
(http://security.kolla.de/ )

Then scan your system for and remove any unwanted parasites, adware,
spyware, foistware and any other junk that might be hiding on your PC. - Why
didn't you think of that...?

Tap the F1 key now. Search on - spybot

which was compiled to executable binary (".exe") using a BatToExe tool.
When executed, it changes the Internet Explorer start page to find-now.info.
It prevents access to the most major search engines such as Google, Yahoo,
Lycos, MSN and AltaVista. To do this it replaces the following file:
