I have windows vista home premium (32 bit) on a gateway computer and for the
last week i have been trying without any luck to get and receive my email
from comcast,my primary email account.. I have tried EVERYTHING in the help
section as far as setting it up and still nothing. I cannot sent or receive
any email, and i am so frustrated, somebody please help..

Please post any error message you get, here.
Right-click on it, select Copy, then paste into a reply.

And, are you connected to Comcast while attempting this?

Have you tried to following settings:

Tools / Accounts / Comcast / Properties button...

Servers tab:
Incoming mail server: POP3
Incoming mail (POP3): mail.comcast.net
Outgoing mail (SMTP): smtp.comcast.net

Check the box...
My server requires authentication

Advanced tab:
Outgoing mail (SMTP): 587
Incoming mail (POP3): 110

After making changes...always be sure to
left click...Apply / OK.
