I am getting many popup windows with IE, how can I get rid of it?

This is happening since last few days, I am getting 9 or 10 popup
windows as soon as I open IE, I installed ad-aware and "Windows
washer", still I am getting it, how can I get rid of it. Those are
bothering a lot. Thanks in advance.

errors on your PC". Is there any other freeware program s can I
download and install it. Really these popups bother me a lot, I
couldn't able to work.

Also my XP machine was very fast initially, these days it is so
slowly, can somebody suggest how can I make it fast again, what was
the reason. Appreciated.

Did you run Spybot S & D?
Did you update Ad-Aware and Spybot before running them?
Where did you post your Hijack This log?
