I am not sure quite what you are saying, and not to familar with the .pst
files. I searched my computer for a .pst file and two entries came up.
There is a archive office data file that is present, but I am not sure how to
open or restore. I want to thank you in advance for your assistants.

A pst-file is a database that Outlook uses to store your email, contacts,
calendar items, etc... in. Did you ever make any backups?
An archive file is not a backup file.

In Outlook, choose File-> Data File Management... to determine which
pst-file is your current one.

I just started using outlook about a month ago and never thought to back it
up. I also would not have thought that this stupid blackberry would have
deleted my contacts. With out the back up am I out of luck?

If the referred recovery method or none of the recovery tools can recover
your data, you'd be indeed be out of luck.
It might be a hard lesson, but especially when doing something like a sync
or an import, you should make a backup first. Of course, regular backups (of
any data, not just Outlook data) should always be a common practice when
working with computers and data you don't want to lose.
