Hi, I would like to know if it is possible create a hyperlink in a powerpiont
presentation to a certain slide in different presentation on the local disk.
ie: Presentation A (on my desktop) slide 3 i want to make a link to:
Presentation B (in my documents) slide 7
and then be able to back to presentation A again.
Is this possible??

You could add "Presentation B Slide 7" to your "Presentation A" and "Hide
Slide" (under the "Slide Show" menu) . Then set up the hyperlink to view the
hidden slide. Then "Presentation B Slide 7" will only be viewed when the
hyperlink is clicked during the slideshow.

You can easily hyperlink from PPT A to PPT B and back using Action Settings,
Hyperlink to, Other PowerPoint Presentation. However, a good warning to
heed is to make sure both are in the same folder before you do this so it is
transportable. For example, if you create this and burn it to a CD the link
won't work unless the folder structure is exactly the same as it was when it
was linked. So - start in the same folder.

When you use this tool, you are given an option of what slide to link to.
This makes it easy to put a button on PPT B to click to link back to PPT A
at the next slide if you want.
