Hyperlink Problem

When I click on a web site hyperlink that directs me to a
page/bookmark within the same site, it works fine. But
when I click on a hyperlink that directs me to another web
site and a new window, the address is not transferred to
the address bar of the new window. Consequently, the new
window does not open but just remains blank.

Anyone have a clue as to how to fix this?
