Hyperlink Errors

When I try to open an Excel 2003 sheet on my PC at work (XP Pro) which
is located on our server it opens the Word Hyperlinks but will not open
the PDF file Hyperlinks in the same document, when I click on the Links
to the PDF files it just opens and closes very fast.

I have tried it on other PCs using the same file on the server and they
work so is it my set up?
