Like I want to click on it from excel/word to open desired e-mail message
from my outlook. (Google gives this facility in "Google Desktop")

Honestly, Jignesh, I don't know. Have you tried "archiving" your email
message to a PST file (go to the following MS site for archiving
instructions:
http://office.microsoft.com/templat...1577881033&Application=PP&Result=14&Version=9
) and THEN you can link to the file on your hard drive. Good luck!

You must be using Word as the Outlook editor and you can then easily insert hyperlinks into messages.

What version of Outlook? There was an Outlook: URL space in versions
previous to 2007, but one of the reasons it was removed was because it
required a lot of care and feeding to make it work properly, you had to be
sure that the person who would recieve the url had full access to your
mailbox.

If you're running 2003, I can try to dig out the url formatting, but, if the
recipient, the one who will be using the url, is running 2007, or a version
earlier than 2000, or not running Outlook at all, they won't be able to use
it.

If the server is Exchange, you *might* be able to do an OWA url to the
message, but again you're back at makin sure the people have permissions to
your mailbox.
