On my laptop, Exceed 8 stopped working in two of three
profiles. All profiles are similar, except the profile
where Exceed works is for my home net, where I vpn with
Cisco software into the company. Exceed works fine in
that profile.
Any of the other two profiles, (one for the real office
net and one for undocked pcmcia net card) - port 6000
never answers when xterm (or telnet to port 6000) is
tried.
Anybody run into anything like this? Actually did credit
carded an incident with MS, but can't get past the 1hr +
ignore times in queue while I'm at the office.
