Huge icons URGENT

I have huge icons and fonts. Presumably caused by the installation of a new
driver.

As a consequence, I have very very little text in windows.
I cannot resize them using DISPLAY (in the submenu appearance or settings)
because the window is too small to change the settings (the OK button does
not appear).

Is there a way to set back the default font size without getting through the
menu
and control panel, display, etc ?

ANY help is welcome.

Have you tried just changing the Theme, which should reset Fonts to the
Theme size.

Or try this:

1. Open Control Panel | Display and click on Appearance Tab. If you cannot
click on appearance tab, then

Open Start Menu | Run and enter: rundll32.exe shell32.dll
Control_RunDLL DESK.CPL,@0,2
This will open Display at the Appearance tab.

2. Type Alt F
3. Type N
4. Click on Enter on the keyboard.

This should return Fonts to Normal.

If this does not happen, the it means that High Contrast is turned on.

Anytime you aren't able to see all of a dialog box or window to see a
button, you can use the keyboard to move the it.

Hold down the ALT key and press the SPACEBAR. Now press the M key. You can
now use the 4 ARROW keys to move the window. When you are done, press the
left mouse button once.

Make any change in the Display properties. The focus on "OK" automatically
takes place. Pressing Enter on the keyboard = clicking OK so no need to see
that button to invoke the desired change in settings.

If you would rather click though, see Ronnie's answer about how to move the
window around with the keyboard so that you can see the OK button to click
it.

On my system, when the Display Properties window comes up, the Focus is on
the Themes drop-down list, not the OK button.
The OK button is the default button, if/when you enter OK. But that does
not help in this case since they needed to get to the Appearance tab.
The default Tab is Themes, when Display Properties starts up.

And the Move to change the Appearance doesn't work since Control Panel
Display Properties never appears in the taskbar, to get to the Move option.

Works on any tab in Display Settings. Select a different setting - in this
case, themes. You'll see the focus appear on OK. (OP doesn't seem to have a
problem selecting a different desktop size, just can't get to the OK
button.)

Good point about Display appearances not appearing in the taskbar but if
you right click on the title bar, there is a Move option available there.

Try rolling back the driver. If that takes care of the problem, then I
guess you decide what you want to do..

Thanks. This worked fine.

And thanks to all others as well for suggestions. By the way,
as I found out, it was actually the screen resolution that needed to be reset,
not the fonts.
