Please help me....is this a type of spyware or what??
My "home page" is set to "blank" and but this address
http://fastsearch.cc/ydtfs/ always comes up. When you
open the page, at the top it says something about
webcounter. I just can't seem to get rid of it. I have
been fiddling with settings and NOW.....

when I right click on a link and select open in a new
window, it just opens and closes immediately. Also my
pages are now not opening properly either....it always has
an error at the bottom left hand corner. It has an
exclamation and then says, done, but with errors on the
page.

PLEASE help.

Shaz,

First, scan the system for parasites and remove them. SpyBot S&D searches
your harddisk for Spyware and Adware

This will remove malware from the PC. Next, reset the Search Engine. Click
the Search button in the toolbar > Customize > AutoSearch Settings > Select
a provider from the list.
Open Internet Explorer > Tools > Options > Programs > "Reset Web Settings"

I went nuts for almost 2 weeks scanned my computer for viruses using
not only my Norton but also every free trial I could find online.
did adawere6 and spybot still as soon as I reboted there it was again.

when you are done do a windows update there is a patch for it.

And now I want to know who owns the fastsearch page, i did a whois and
I always get that the info is not available at this time.
i want the info i am going to sue or kick ass and yes i will traval to
kick ass.
