HTML Print Solution Win2000

P

Phil Seman

I have had the same issue with printing HTML. I was receiving the
preview.dll error, and line 1341, error. I did apply an update to Office
2000 that was not installed, and this stopped the error, but I still wasn't
able to print HTML from Outlook. The following registry key was missing from
my system.

The following is a repost of a solution that was posted by Gary Van Der Hart
on Jan 27th. I checked to see if this registry key was missing, and it was.
I went to another pc that had this and exported/imported to mine, and that
solved my problem.

After going through all the links trying to find out why that Line 1344
Script Error kept me from printing either in Outlook or Outlook Express, I
finally called Microsoft. They scheduled a second level call to me and
after a few things to try, the solution was that a critical registry key was
missing. There is no explanation why it was missing, but I was able to
recover it from another machine and I am back in business. Absolutely
amazing after many months of torture!

Here it is, but I'd find the key from a reliable machine and get a quality
copy of the file to keep from destroying your system...
This is from a W2K Pro OS.

Would the registry key be the same for XP?

Hello People,

I had the exact same problem on several machines running
Windows XP /Pro & Outlook 2003.

I export the below reg key from a W2K machine with Office
XP and imported into the XP/2003 machine and it has fixed
the problem.

Thanks for the post & the information.

Regards
