HP5710 Windows 2000 Server Domain

Hello!!!

I need your help for the following scenario.

Today I have bought a thin cliente computer HP5710 with Windows XP Embedded
SP2 and I need to know which are the steps to be able to add this machine to
an existent domain in Windows 2000 Server, and I also need to know as
keeping the changes that I make in the machine it for example to change the
image background of the screen.

I believe HP would better answer your questions since it is them who created the image for your device.

But it sounded like they are running EWF (or another write filter). You would need to commit any changes you make in the image to
make them persistent.

To join a domain (assuming the right components were included in the image you're running) you can either use UI - system control
panel applet, network tab - or use command like tools like netdom.exe.
