HP Standard IP Port vs. Standard IP Port

Hi.........

We're setting up a print server....and we are trying to figure out the diff
between HP Standard IP Port and Standard IP Port. I've tried looking through
technet but can't really find much doco on the diff between the 2........
Were using Win2k and Win2k3 Server.

The Standard TCP/IP port monitor is part of Windows, whereas the HP one
isn't - it was probably installed when you installed some HP software that
came with your HP Printers or JetDirects. There is probably not much
practical difference except that the HP port monitor may have some functions
that are specific to HP JetDirects.
