hp director software

i have a 3570 scanner, whose quality of scan is very good, but whose
software is absolutely frightful....

never again will i buy anything from hp, not only because of their
arrogance for not including twain and wia drivers, but for the fact
that there is NO download of them, just a 250mb download of director
ver2, with no explaination of whether it solves any of the problems of
integration with winkp / office xp?

does anyone know what ver 2 has in it over 1.1? before i use my moths
allowence dowloading it
