How to transfer old emails to new computer

I have a new computer and want to move my stored emails
from my old computer to it. I do have a zip drive that my
sister said I might need to use. However I don't know how
to transfer the emails onto the zip drive and then move
them from the zip drive to the new computer.

Are you using Outlook or Outlook Express? If Outlook, copy the .pst file to
the zip, then copy from the zip to the new computer. Use Outlook File->Open
to access your saved mail information.

Use Windows Search to find it - if using Windows 2000 or XP, turn on
searching hidden and system files.
