I want to leave my laptop be in a workgroup but i was wondering if
anyone knew a way or had a program that allowed you to be apart of a
domain and log in so it seemed like you were on a domain but windows
really isn't.

Thanks,

Because what you're dealing with are OS-wide -- you can't boot Windows
into a half/half situation. You might get away with a dual-boot config,
one in a domain, one in a workgroup. I've not yet checked into the
concept of having two identical OSs on the same drive, one setup as
domain, one workgroup -- I don't know if that violates the EULA. It is
the same OS on one drive, on one computer...

I don't think you'd be able to pull that off very well... But there is
a way to do it w/ dual-boot config.

You can either be a member of a domain and authenticate to machines in a
workgroup, or you can be in a workgroup and authenticate against the domain
for resources, but you can't do both.

Maybe if you explain what you're trying to do we might be able to help.
