I am undertaking a 2 yr degree course. throughout this time i will compiling
documents within my work area whioch i would like to anonymise to place in my
portfolio - is there a way to do this. I kind of thought there would be.

Also does anyone know how to copy info from one page in a document to
further pages as a regular automatic thing. I have a 7 page document where i
repeatedly have to re-enter name , address, etc. etc. i know how to copy and
paste but wondered if there was a way to set this to happen automatically

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to do, but one way to
combine different documents into one is to make use of INCLUDETEXT fields.
See http://word.mvps.org/faqs/tblsfldsfms/includetextfieldscontent.htm.

To repeat text on multiple pages, just place it in the page header or
footer; for more, see http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/HeaderFooter.htm.
If you make use of a text box you can place the text outside of the header
area and still have it repeat (as long as the text box is anchored to the
header). See http://sbarnhill.mvps.org/WordFAQs/AnchorToHeader.htm.
