Hi,

How to remove the Startup items from msconfig? Some of them are not on the registry but still appear on Startup tab of msconfig.

Thanks.

Hi §Chrissi§,

On the startup tab of msconfig, look at the location indicated for the
startup item. Many are loaded from the startup folders rather than the
registry. Check both:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
C:\Documents and Settings\<user_name>\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

Use MSConfig to determine precisely where the startup items are
located, whether in the registry or in Startup folders.
