Need help reactivating windows xp home edition.
Had it activated, installed, and working; hard drive crashed.

How do I re-activate Windows XP?
It says this serial (product key) is already activated.

if you can not activate over the internet, then you must activate over the
phone.

so THAT is how you re-activate. the *same* way that it is activated the
first time.

Not just several. You can activate on the same system as many times as you
want. Also Retail can be moved to a different computer, OEM can't.

Call to Microsoft activations, if your product key has been already
activated, contact your provider
