What are other ways to promote your website and get
traffic, if you are unable to get a listing on google, or
the other primary search engines. Or if you are unfortunately
listed on the bottom of most search engines. Are there other
ways to promote your website that can have fruitful results?

you could register your website for free.

Use any of the conventional advertising methods that you would have
used before the advent of the internet such as news releases, ads in
publications that your clients are likely to read etc.

Register your url at a few key search engines. Do it your self, dont
use those free register-for-you or automatically-register-your-site
places. If your site is promoting the same thing as hundreds or
thousands of other sites dont expect a lot of success with the search
engines.
