Remember Drive Z has some issues and I noted in the past that
Mounting on Z may not work (especially if you are in a hurry). I
always create Z then create Y and Mount Y.
I've just been playing around and I realise now that I had UAC turned on when I first tried Virtual
CDRom.
I couldn't get it past all the security hoops.
I have since turned UAC off and it works ok.
If I turn UAC back on, the Virtual CDRom control panel lets me create a drive or drives, X,Y, and Z
but they don't show up in Computer or Explorer ??.
Running Home Premium.
