how to log client connections

looking to see when and how often users are logging in
into our terminal server. Is there a way to log who and
when clients are logging in.

I have been asked by our owner (control freak) to provide details as far as
not only when they are logging in, but how long they were on line, and what
apps were runing.

Is there any way to provide this type of information ?

Where do you select to audit successful logon events?
